Is it necessary for the metal casing of electrical equipment to have reliable grounding?

by Grace ERA

Reliable grounding or RC (if the conductor is very long and the current is very large, in the neutral point Earthing system below 1000 V, it is assumed that the A-phase winding of the motor touches the metal shell due to insulation damage. It is not allowed to connect the coarse hole with the hole connected to the working neutral wire in the socket:

Connect the metal casing of electrical equipment and the metal framework connected to the casing with a grounding device reliably to the ground. The protective neutral connection is generally used in three-phase four-wire power grids with a neutral point grounded below 1000 volts, and the capacitance between the wire and the ground should also be considered to form a circuit. The protective neutral connection shown in the diagram should be adopted, so only fuses should be installed on the phase lines, with continuous fuses. But it depends on what power supply system you have. One terminal in the junction box of the Electricity meter is connected to the neutral line, which is grounded at one side of the transformer, so the safety of the Electricity meter can be guaranteed. However, the enclosure of Electricity meter is generally coated with insulating paint. If it is grounded, it will not play a safe role.

1. Earthing refers to the neutral point of the power system and electrical equipment, the exposed conductive parts of electrical equipment, and the conductive parts outside the device being connected to the ground through conductors. It can be divided into working grounding, lightning protection grounding, and protective grounding;

2. When current flows through the above three types of grounding electro
